!!!MAY IS GREY!!!

MBTN is appropriately engaged with numerous activities during the month, beginning with the Baltimore CONNECT Conference on May 1st, where we were invited as a roundtable discussion guest and vendor. The conference theme: Community Connections: Building Awareness & Access, whereby it hosts (Baltimore CONNECT) launched this inaugural regional gathering aimed at increasing awareness of community services and resources, facilitating enhanced access to resources for underserved populations, and fostering collaboration between Baltimore-area nonprofits, community and faith-based organizations, businesses, and community members. Baltimore CONNECT Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization comprised of community-based organizations and the Johns Hopkins Health System to better link social and healthcare services across Baltimore, Maryland.

Meningioma Brain Tumor Network, Inc's Dr Av Schools-Cropper, Board Officers Liaison, represented the organization. She was instrumental in addressing the main topic of the conference through discussions, workshops, presentations, displays, etc., on Social Determinants of Health (SDOH), engaging participants in strategies for fostering community collaboration, and implementing sustainable solutions for underserved populations.
